• Creating sourcing strategy for Measurement Solutions facilities within EMEA region• Managing 14 sites across Europe to implement and execute agreed sourcing initiatives for indirect materials• Ensure close cooperation among manufacturing sites on category management• Reviewing and approving ARs and Capital Expenditures• Measuring and controlling KPI directives for different spend categories (cost avoidance, cost reduction, capital, e-Sourcing) • Developing spend management directives for multiple commodities across EMEA region• Leading cross-functional teams with multi-divisions to maximize project results• Facilitate regular commodity reviews, team calls for local indirect material buyers within the region• Establishing supplier visits and face-to-face negotiations• Guiding the selection process of potential suppliers and managing strategic suppliers to meet service performance• Benchmarking market trends• Coordinate with internal stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization• Creating internal sourcing processes for newly established factory in Europe• Coordinating with various stakeholders to build up new production line by implementing regional sourcing strategy• Establishing regular track leaders calls• Driving cost down through mapping low country suppliers and E-tendering

• Building entire RFx projects in Ariba e-Sourcing tool• Leading e-Sourcing projects cooperating with engineers and commodity managers• Identifying additional sourcing opportunities through direct contact with Business Units, Commodity Managers• Training suppliers and internal buyers on proper use of our internal systems• Coordinating with supplier baseBusiness Analyst responsibilities:• Providing database management, market analysis, researches within various Emerson systems and reports to Director of Supply Chain• Providing up-to-date KPI report about spend, volume, saving results• Managing project planning and sourcing activities among European Business Units• Presenting e-Sourcing results, forecasts and European KPIs on Regional/global meetings, councils

• Validating direct invoices & payment requests • Processing prepayments and final invoices in SAP R/3-ARIBA interface• Providing review of payment proposal• Handling vendor and internal invoice queries simultaneously in English and German
