With more than 19 years of experience in industrial design, prototyping, branding, and design management, I have a proven track record of developing and executing successful projects from concept to market.I am also a University Lecturer at Sapienza Università di Roma and a Partner and Chief Design Officer at AWRobotics, a startup that offers innovative logistics services with the use of internally developed robots and Artificial Intelligence.My passion for design and digital manufacturing led me to found FAMO COSE Roma Makerspace, the first membership-driven workshop in Rome that offers access to cutting-edge tools and equipment for makers and designers. Through this initiative, I have also contributed to the promotion and education of design culture and skills in my community, hosting various events and workshops. CurrentFAMO COSE is the first Roman fully equipped membership-driven makerspace, a creative workshop for designers and makers who want to fully exploit the potential of digital manufacturing.The makerspace offers services and equipment, also carrying out an important training function through workshops and seminars.It hosted events such as the World Usability Day, Co-Design Jams, Global Service Jams, Cyclehacks and GGD Talks, becoming an active part in the promotion of digital culture and design.Inside the space there are several work areas and it is possible to take advantage of modern technologies for rapid prototyping such as 3D printers, CNC cutter and laser cutting, as well as more traditional carpentry and metalworking equipment.
