I am a designer and a serial entrepreneur.In my 20+ years of professional experience, I have been inspired by sci-fi, architecture, Japanese culture, and an interest in human experiences. After a long service as UX designer, CTO, and Strategy officer in several companies, in 2006 I founded Sketchin to meet a challenge: mould a world where people can live experiences beyond their expectations. Sketchin is a strategic design firm based in Switzerland with branches in Milano (IT), San Francisco (US), and London (UK), and currently employs 120+ designers. Since then, I’ve evolved Sketchin's practice from both a philosophical and practical perspective to better fit market needs and embrace change as an evolutive competitive advantage, with a particular focus on Agile practices and a flat organisation culture.In 2016, I scaled the company’s vision by becoming part of BIP Group, one of the fastest-growing European management consulting firms. I led Sketchin, one of the biggest design studios in Southern Europe, and was one of the partners managing the advanced technology practice of the BIP Group with more than 1600 people involved. We worked with clients ranging from startups to global brands like Google, Lenovo, Samsung, Vodafone, Enel, and Swisscom to evolve the overall experience they offer their customers.As of 2024, I transitioned from CEO of Sketchin to President Non-Executive. In BIP, I have taken responsibility for the platform of Centers of Excellence (COE) with the title of Chief Innovation and Internationalization Officer.I regularly deliver speeches at conferences around the world on topics such as experience design, evolution, interaction design, social change, the future of technology, and experience management. In my TED speech, I talked about the power of design in creating spaces that foster superior and meaningful experiences.I am the Scientific Director of the UX Master at the TAG Innovation School in Italy. I have been a professor of UX Design at universities such as SUPSI and CSIA in Switzerland and a lecturer at Politecnico di Milano, IULM (Milan), and SSSAA (CH).I currently serve as a Board Advisor in several companies.
