I believe that the importance of Design lies in its power of stimulating and nourishing meaning in our surroundings. I find that such meaning is often about what’s not in plain sight, what’s tacit.Socioscapes, memoryscapes, historyscapes, emotionscapes, symbolscapes, seescapes, soundscapes, smellscapes, touchscapes, tastescapes (etc.). In my practice I address these often neglected layers.Working on different scales, my work takes the form of experiences which create disruptions in daily life or orchestrate rituals.Our homes, cities and environment should become museums yet not of dry beautiful objects, but meaningful experiences.
