I was ecstatic to discover the design industry because I paralleled "design" closely with "invention." I have since been blessed with the opportunity to pursue this passion at Carnegie Mellon University's renowned School of Design, with an additional major in Environmental & Sustainability Studies.Having grown up in the western suburbs of Chicago, creative people and ideas constantly surround me; My parents design buildings and plan cities, my social circle revolved around the local theater of Western Springs, and my favorites as a kid were Legos, Minecraft, and the show "How It's Made." They say you should never give up your childlike curiosity, and I've been fortunate enough to make a career out of it.
