• Attend daily rounds with multi-disciplinary NICU team assisting with the initiation and management of medication therapies in a 45 bed level IIIb NICU.• Remote pharmacokinetics consulting for 20 bed level III NICU at an affiliate hospital.• Responsible for initiation and monitoring of parenteral nutrition of neonates. • Consulted for the initiation and management of antibiotics, therapeutic drug level monitoring, and management of pharmacokinetics dependent medications for NICU and pediatric, postpartum patients.• Committee member in multiple quality improvement, safety, and policy committees for the NICU, Pediatric, and OB/GYN departments.• Attend rapid responses and codes in the NICU, Pediatric, and OB/GYN departments providing support to nurses and physicians. • Provide discharge medication teaching to parents and/or caregivers of infants being discharged from NICU.• Preceptor to pharmacy residents and students.• Provide education and in-services to pharmacy colleagues and nursing staff.
