I worked with four other engineering students to create a gearbox based device that pulls textbooks up a ramp using a small DC motor (Stall Torque of 0.0127 Nm). The finished device successfully completed all trials including a maximum loading of 5 textbooks (20 lbs) up a 60 degree incline. Personal Contributions:- Calculated optimum gear ratios for maximum motor power under the various loading conditions - Created 3 parts and the assembly in SolidWorks- Determined Manufacturing Tolerances- Machined parts of the device using lathes and mills

Senior Design Project
I worked within a group of engineering students to develop a motorized wheelchair attachment that allows wheelchair users to traverse steep and uneven terrain in Nepal.
