My name is Lucas Doyle, and I am an aspiring Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over a year of experience in the accounting field. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. I anticipate graduating in June 2027, following my transfer from Millersville University, where I developed a solid foundation in business principles and accounting practices. In my current role as an Accounting Intern at USLI, I manage critical tasks such as processing premium information, customer commissions, and policy reporting, ensuring accuracy within stringent deadlines. I work closely with the Accounts Receivable and Controller to resolve discrepancies and update policy details, contributing to efficient operations. My academic coursework, including Federal Income Tax 1 and Intermediate Accounting, equips me with the knowledge to analyze complex financial data, while enhancing my proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite. Outside of academics, I participated in KPMG’s Ace The Case program, which honed my analytical and presentation skills through real-world business case studies. My role as a Division 2 wrestler has also sharpened my leadership, teamwork, and time-management abilities, where I excel under pressure and consistently strive for excellence, both in competition and in my professional pursuits. After graduation, my short-term goal is to work at a leading accounting firm where I can apply my auditing and forensic accounting skills. In the long term, I aim to become a forensic accountant specializing in financial fraud detection, contributing to transparency and integrity within the financial industry.
