As a student manager, I am in charge of managing the students that work on my shifts. This includes training our new hires to making sure each student gets their break to just the daily responsibilities of my location. I also have to attend monthly meetings with the rest of the students managers to discuss how the month went and places we can improve on as a group.

I worked on reducing the plant's carbon footprint through green energy alternatives, energy saving options, and utilizing geothermal for heating and cooling. I assisted the team on a few continuous improvement projects with LEAN goals.

While here, I was involved in all aspects of indoor operations. I worked in the pro shop helping customers with their tee times and answering any questions they had or people that called the pro shop had. I also worked behind the bar for our league nights. There was a few weeks were I managed our kitchen for our Friday Night Fish Fry.

I worked here as an intern when I was still in high school. My roles here included many aspects of operations including working with our quality department to assess our parts. I also worked on a new promotional project with another intern to showcase the capabilities of the machines we have. We designed a maple syrup tap with our logo on the side to give out at career fairs and schools. The biggest challenge I had when here was reorganizing our stock room. This entailed creating a new system to label everything and put it into our online catalog. I then had to rearrange everything into the locations that I gave each type of raw bar stock.
