As a Project Manager with a focus on client relationship building, my job is to ensure we understand and meet the needs of our clients, predominantly private owners, architects, estate agents and landlords, by delivering thoughtful and insightful consultancy whilst delivering multiple high quality residential re-developments across a portfolio of projects including full scale renovations of both residential and commercial spaces and home refurbishments. As the Project Manager my main role functions were sourcing, vetting and hiring sub-contractors across all trades, developing timelines and booking in works to ensure there were no clashes between trades or works weren’t completed prior to the next trade attending. I also regularly performed quality control attending sites to review works throughout the job life-cycle to make sure everything was completed to a high standard. I was also primarily responsible for managing budgets, including tracking all outgoings to ensure targets were being met, whilst also providing regular updates of budgetary and job progress.
