• Financial Risk Management Pricing & Margins, working on option pricing and end of day clearing processing.• Inspects, investigates and correct anomalies or errors with the proprietary smoothing algorithm that may have an impact on the prices of option contracts, options on futures, stock loans, borrow cost, implied volatility and more; to ensure accurate and robust pricing data is being published. • Perform data imports from Bloomberg and Refinitiv Eikon to identify potential risk to OCC about the status of certain securities, which could have an impact on margin and collateral criteria. Working with other OCC teams to resolve any potential risk that was discovered and tracking the risk for future review.• Use Tableau to calculate and visualize pricing data received to track and correct errors that are in the data or internal systems. • Create projects that help increase the efficiency of updating data into OCC proprietary system with the use of Excel VLOOKUPS, macros, data cleaning and other functions. • Perform validation review of pricing data before executing, releasing and publishing updated data.• Communicate with Production Operation and Market Operation teams to ensure backend systems are processing and the defined quality standards have been met. When quality standards are not met, then investigation and resolution need to be documented for future review.
