As the Digital Product Owner, I define the product roadmap for OptiRun Connect, our new "Internet of Things" solution enabling improved, faster, and predictive services for our customers' biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. I additionally translate the product concept and vision into executable priorities for our software team building the product.

As Digital Scrum Master, I defined and implemented Agile Development processes, adopted as the standard for development for all Cytiva Digital products. I also guided the execution and collaboration of two global software development teams to their first product releases, facilitating op mechs, gathering metrics, removing team impediments, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, notably leading to one team’s 70% increase in output on its 2nd release.

As Project Leader for Upstream Bioprocess Consumables Product Care, I manage the project execution, resource allocation, and budget of R&D activities related to sustaining and improving existing consumable products in the Xcellerex, Ready to Process, Wave, and Hollow Fiber product lines. Additionally, I develop strategies on how to continually improve team execution and efficiency, including the implementation of Agile and Scrum techniques, first acting as the Scrum Master and later as the Product Owner.

As a mechanical engineer on the Life Cycle Engineering team, I manage projects and act as the technical design lead for design change, design improvement, and cost-savings projects as well as customer complaint investigations for consumable products in the Xcellerex, Ready to Process, Wave, and Hollow Fiber product lines.

The Edison program is a 2 year rotational program that includes four 6-month rotations on different teams across the modalities of GE Healthcare. My rotations included the following:1. MR Mechanical Hardware Engineer (Waukesha, WI)• Designed trailer layout & retired major product design risks for future 1.5T Mobile MR product• Designed new brake mechanism for MR mobile table• Led implementation of chiller solution for the SIGNA Pioneer scanner in USCAN & EMEA regions 2. In the summer of 2014, I completed a 12-week engineering internship at GE Healthcare's site in Issaquah, WA where they design high resolution microscopes. During this time I accomplished the following:• Actively contributed to hardware design team to develop conceptual design and procure components for an environmental controller to maintain pH and temperature of samples within high resolution microscopes • Completed GE certified GD&T training and developed complete mechanical design of live-cell microscope environmental controller using pneumatic and electrical components for triple gas and heating controller techniques in Autodesk Inventor• Responsible to build and test a complete prototype of environmental controller design while developing a prototype test report and detailed mechanical drawings for the manufacturer to mass produce the design by end of internship

• Worked with children ages 9-12 at 8-week overnight summer camp; resolved physical and verbal conflicts, executed team-building exercises, helped mold physical and social skills• Planned entire camp schedule including organizing activities and managing major events for over 300 campers and distributed daily operational details to all camp directors as the Assistant Program Director• Selected by owners to lead one of four “College League” teams over a 6-week period in 2013; directed 40 staff and 80 campers in a series of athletic, artistic, and educational events, incorporating quantitative analysis and resource allocation techniques to optimize individual and team results
