As Senior Data Analyst, my role in the "Brasil Participativo" project is to help the project advance in all four fronts of data analytics: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive, bysupporting activities such as:• KPI definition in conjunction with stakeholders• Data visualization• Automation of user participation data on the platform• Merging the platform’s databases and other available government databases• Applying data science techniques in areas such as classification and NLP

Development of data products based on statistics and machine learning for maintenance and process optimization for manufacturing and process industries.Main results:1) Conducted the full data science project pipeline using CRISP-DM methodology for developing a machine learning model that is capable of optimizing the cleaning process of the sulfate removal unit's membranes of Brazil’s leading Oil and Gas player. The result of this modelling was translated into a Virtual Engineering Tool ‐ a webapp in which engineers and operators can simulate parameters of the most important features to understand how this affects the outcomes of the cleaning process.2) Developed a condition based monitoring system (a data product for predictive maintenance 4.0) in Python for one of the largest pulp producers in LATAM based on engineering knowledge to identify potential hydraulic unit failures on a press equipment so that the engineering team could act proactively and prevent production losses.

Braincube is an IIoT SaaS platform aimed at providing easy access and facilitate data analysis in transformation industries.Product Owner / Data product management: - Responsible for diagnosis and implementation of the IoT based application;- Support to sales team on presenting technical aspects of the product during sales / prospection. - Understand prospect customers’ current data situation in terms of infrastructure (pipelines, consumption, strategy) and come up with potential use cases taking into account their current reality.Data analytics consultancy / Customer experience: - Onboarding of new customers by providing training and consulting sessions aimed at data-driven problem solving using Braincube’s cloud apps such as data visualization, machine learning, alerts and others. - Support customers on structuring routines and developing analysis using data on activities such as: KPI development, dashboard creation, exploratory data analysis and machine learning usage.Main results:1) One of the largest steel producers in Brazil reported savings estimated in 10MM BRL by reducing scrap after using data analytics tools and guided consultancy on data-driven problem solving. Other successful use cases were achieved in mining sector and food. 2) Developed a playbook for customer usage of Braincube platform that did not exist and became a global tool, now known as the 'Quick Start Guide to Braincube'. Also created educational videos and written materials to make Braincube's usage clearer for the users and peers.3) Used data science techniques and conducted user experience research to provide a novel understanding of the users relationship to Braincube with k-means clustering and A/B testing. This also was translated into feedback for the sales team to leverage specific aspects of the product during prospection, leading to a increase in sales conversion.4) Developed and structured an onboarding strategy for new users that would maximize retention.
