Over the course of more than two decades of diverse high-level research experience, Lucas has consistently earned his strong reputation as a pragmatic, sophisticated, and action-oriented researcher. He is known for creating innovative new techniques to tackle research challenges as well as his ability to crisply distill the essence of data and crystallize the best path forward for clients. He has become relied upon as a continuous source of strategic advice and tactical wisdom by clients from a wide range of sectors.While being involved with Mission Research in an occasional consulting capacity since 2002, Lucas has joined on a full-time basis as of 2016. As a pioneering researcher in the field of brand health measurement, Lucas specializes in customer/employee/stakeholder satisfaction, media impact and public opinion. Lucas is a frequent presenter to conferences, boards, commissions, and councils, and he has provided commentary on polling in most Canadian print and broadcast media on numerous occasions. Prior to joining Mission, Lucas was a senior researcher at Pollara, Angus Reid and Leger. Prior to his research career, Lucas was a practicing journalist for what is now BNN Bloomberg. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism and has completed post-graduate advanced-level training in quantitative methods and statistics from Ryerson University.
