Full-stack developer, data specialist, technology aficionado, and polyglot, I am passionate about data-driven business analytics and the use of technology to inform decision-making and minimize risk. While working with KPMG in Brazil, gaining experience with business and tax processes and data, I discovered an innate enthusiasm for innovation. I undertook a project to automate worksheets used in calculation of currency exchange and realized “wow, I’m good at this!” Since relocating to Vancouver, I have studied web development, business intelligence, data analytics, effective management of business data, and other topics that will help me excel in the development and analytics space.While programming, troubleshooting, or drilling down the data, I keep my eye on the “bigger picture,” which enables me to recognize trends. One of my best advantages is the broad range of languages, frameworks and systems I'm used to work with. In addition to my ability to work on projects, I have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complicated findings in easy-to-understand terms.Having studied and worked in multiple countries, I genuinely appreciate different cultures and the contribution each person has to offer in a team environment.
