- Co-led the implementation of the County’s Strategic Economic Development Plan, including creation of a one-stop-shop economic development organization – the Advance Albany County Alliance- Led Implementation of the Strategic Technology and Green Energy Grant Program, a $10 million fund focused on attracting wind, solar, EV, battery, hydrogen and other clean energy industries to Albany County- Partnered with state and regional economic development leaders on clean energy attraction efforts including attending industry conferences, hosting company delegations, and leading site tours- Helped secure Plug Power’s $125 million expansion project in Albany County, ensuring the local growth of a leading clean energy manufacturer that will generate 1600 jobs- Coordinated efforts to make the 65-acre Al Tech Steel brownfield site shovel ready for manufacturing investment- Utilized American Rescue Plan funding to create several grant programs including $3.2 million for workforce development, $2.5 million for economic development, and $2.5 million for broadband expansion- Secured $13.3 million in federal, state, and utility funding for demolition and redevelopment of the 500,000 square foot Central Warehouse building in Downtown Albany- Implemented numerous County sustainability projects including streetlight conversion to LED, acquisition of EVs, and development of the County’s first renewable energy project, a 2.1 MW solar array

- Oversaw several policy areas including energy, sustainability, public health, and infrastructure- Led the effort to make Albany County the first NYSERDA Clean Energy Community in the Capital Region- Implemented a Property Assessed Clean Energy program to finance commercial energy efficiency upgrades- Led the implementation of Albany County’s first Climate Resiliency Plan, a comprehensive report that identified projects to increase the County’s resilience to flooding, extreme heat, and other climate risks

- Tracked and analyzed legislative and regulatory developments for a diverse group of clients- Led meetings between clients and Members of Congress to influence federal legislation- Served as Policy Director for the American-Central European Business Association, an organization focused on strengthening connections between U.S. corporations and Central European government leaders.
