Audio Visual Specialist
Current- Install various AV and IT equipment in the new studios accordingly- Assemble professional video cameras, including lens, onboard monitor and power supplies;- Install professional video cameras in the studio and connect them via SDI wires to server room equipment;- Make sure all digital video signals from the camera are reaching the desired equipment (video switcher, capturing device, monitor);- Setting up and Keying Greenscreens- Run low voltage wiring (Video, Audio and Network Cabling) through the studios and facility, installing Server Racks, cameras and all other aspects of our technology infrastructure;- Installing CCTV infrastructure. CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs etc.- Run SDI, XLR and ethernet cables; tipping wire, crimping and testing is a large part of installations;- Install professional studio lighting fixtures and modifiers according to the lighting scheme;- Analyze and repair technical faults on equipment and systems;- Minimize loss of service when equipment fails by quickly identifying issues and providing aa fast solution.-Communicate and collaborate with colleagues from all across the globe.Training (January to April 2023):Embarked on a three-month journey to Bucharest, Romania for comprehensive training in studio construction, covering everything from strategically placing cameras to optimizing server room infrastructure. Eagerly delved into every aspect of building state-of-the-art studios, committed to absorbing knowledge from industry experts, fostering international collaborations, and ultimately bringing my newfound expertise back to Toronto to build Studios here.
