Lucas is based out of Victoria, BC, Canada and is looking for a job in the field of wildlife/environmental conservation on Vancouver Island. He most recently worked with the University of New South Wales as a research assistant in an Aerial Waterbird Survey crucial to Australia’s wetland conservation. He has a Master’s degree in Primate Conservation from Oxford Brookes University and is passionate about conservation education and the preservation of wildlife and natural areas for future generations to enjoy. He studied Marine Biology for a year at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and finished his undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, gaining valuable knowledge about the intricacies of the natural world. He has an interest in combining his loves of conservation education, animal behavior, and wildlife photography to excite his peers about wildlife conservation.
