I am pursuing a dual degree in Computer Engineering (undergraduate) at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais and Informatics (Master's) at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. This academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in technology, research, and problem-solving, complemented by practical experience in both academic and professional settings.Currently, I am a Research Fellow at CIMO - Mountain Research Center, contributing to the Pathogens in Foods (PIF) Database project. This initiative, focused on enhancing food safety across Europe, involves developing and maintaining a web-based platform, including creating pathogen catalogs, improving database functionality, and designing interactive dashboards to support decision-making. My research experience also includes a year-long fellowship at CNPq - National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, where I participated in an innovative project for Brazilian agribusiness. In collaboration with veterinary experts, I helped develop an expert system to identify toxic plants based on animal symptoms and provide emergency treatment recommendations. This work resulted in a practical mobile app (eVet) to support cattle breeders in remote areas.Previously, I worked as a Web Development Intern, where I gained hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js, frontend interfaces using React.js and Flutter, and database management with MySQL. Additionally, as a Teaching Assistant for Formal Languages and Automata Theory, I mentored students and facilitated their understanding of complex theoretical concepts. This role refined my communication and leadership skills and deepened my ability to convey technical knowledge effectively.
