As of May I am currently a class 5 operator helping maintain the Five Fork Water Treatment Plant. The plant uses reverse osmosis to filter ground water and distribute it throughout the county. I’m tasked with surveying the Plant and distribution system through a software that displays real time water quality readings.We test the water physically in the lab multiple times a day for pH, turbidity, Chlorine, Conductivity and etc.Everyday there is various data to record and organize within shared excel files as-well as a daily log to communicate between shifts.There are monthly, weekly and daily work orders to complete, but usually there are unexpected issues or tasks as-well.I am studying to pass my first class IV water treatment operator test.
