I have always been fascinated by video games from a young age. After developing games of my own within Unity I only grew more interested in the design, and development process which it involved. Though I really enjoyed working on the art and music for my games, I was enthralled by the C# scripting within the game engine and always loved working on game logic, which inspired me to focus my professional studies in computer science.Throughout my education at Oakland University, I’ve had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the software development process. Working on course projects has allowed me to better understand how to manage and work efficiently with colleagues in an agile team setting, as well as how to keep good version control over projects. I have also had the chance to learn and apply new programming languages, techniques, and documentation practices to my work. Additionally, personal game projects have provided me good experience in C# and other programs such as Adobe Photoshop and digital audio workstations for both graphical, and sound design. Both my personal and course projects have continued to strengthen my passion to learn more in the computer science field and inspired me to continue developing new skills and broadening my capabilities, which I look forward to applying at a professional level.
