In my role as a Software Quality Engineer I spearheaded the development and implementation of manual testing practices tailored to meet the stringent requirements set by various jurisdictions and regulatory bodies within the gambling industry. Collaborating closely with Game Producers, Game Designers, Front-end game developers, and external QA teams, I played a pivotal role in enhancing our testing methodologies to ensure the highest quality for our software.My responsibilities included conducting comprehensive functional testing on our world-class slot games, implementing effective defect detection and tracking processes, and strategizing testing activities through meticulous preparation and planning. I actively contributed to the optimization of standards and processes, ensuring strict adherence while seeking continuous improvement opportunities. Additionally, I took charge of setting up and preparing software and test environments for accurate assessments.

During the internship, I undertook various activities, including analyzing individual components and the overall software system. This involved identifying and understanding encountered issues, exploring their root causes, and designing appropriate solutions. Additionally, I played a role in dimensioning and specifying requirements and functionalities, with the responsibility of inspecting the implemented requirements by the development team.I actively contributed to the development of test scripts, focusing on optimization and considering alternative flows. This testing effort spanned across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows, WebOS, Tizen, and Roku TV. Furthermore, I engaged in simulating scenarios for specific hardware setups tailored to each client, facilitating bug investigation. Additionally, I conducted regression testing across different versions of operating systems, aiming to discover the minimum requirements for the application's functionality.
