Trying to remain a student for as long as possible. PhD research on tomographic analysis of a heavy medium cyclone (not completed due to other competing interests). Learnt advanced statistics, sampling theory, etc. Designed instrumentation, linear positioning systems, Caesium 137 gamma emitter housing, a 16m tower for constant head slurry flow to cyclone, etc. had lots of fun.
