Since January 2024, I have been working on the development of the game Ascendance, a project I started with the goal of building a portfolio and practically facing the challenges of creating a game. In partnership with my programmer colleague, we have made progress in the development of the game, with a well-structured plan that has guided our progress. Although we do not have a specialized artist, this has not stopped us from moving forward. All the game's artwork was created using artificial intelligence, allowing us to focus on content creation and development. The central proposal of Ascendance is to offer an experience that values decision-making and resource management for the player. Set in an ancient Greek world, the game tells the story of the Gods deciding to recruit a human champion to represent humanity in Olympus. Combining these elements has been challenging, but my love for game design and the desire to experience it is extremely motivating.
