Acting as a Network Engineer I am responsible for assisting with troubleshooting and network maintenance of over 20 separate networks with a cumulative asset size of over 1000 servers, workstations, and network assets. Through my time here I continue to garner greater understanding and experience in the world of Remote IT assistance and network management.My responsibilities are as follows: - Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting - Network analysis - Hardware diagnosis - Switch Programming - VLAN management - Server management - GPO creation - Comprehensive network monitoring - Remote assistance & system management - Robust backup solution managementThroughout my over three years of faithful service, I resolved over 6,000 independent incidences, providing industry-leading resolution times for clients.

Throughout my time at 3rd Radio Battalion I was engaged in a highly diverse set of responsibilities. Upon arrival to the unit I was employed as a communications equipment custodian. Months later I would be moved to the Network Operations Center to be a systems analyst and a tier one troubleshooter.After graduating from the in-house training, I was rewarded with a solo deployment to the Philippines where I was the sole systems administrator over multiple servers and was responsible for establishing and maintain two separate Top Secret networks for dozens of local users and hundreds of total users throughout the Area of Operations. It was during that time that I was awarded a Certificate of Commendation for my efforts in theater. Upon returning to the unit I was immediately selected to join the CADRE element as a Satellite Communications and Networking Instructor. After 4 months as an instructor I was promoted to Chief Course Instructor as an additional billet to my Instructor Billets. It was during that time that I revised and created a variety of curriculum to improve the additional in house training. After completing multiple student cycles I was then moved to a senior position within the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility as the Trojan Switch Extension(TSE) Administrator. In addition to my duties as the TSE administrator, I was also the senior administrator for ten separate Tactical Control and Analysis Center servers. All of which are Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information,TS/SCI, accredited systems. These server's locations that I administrated over spanned from Japan to the Philippines, and Hawaii. It was for my work during this time that I was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for my superior diligence and dedication to my craft.Throughout my tenure at 3rd Radio Battalion I faced many obstacles and personal challenges. It was through this adversity that I grew both personally and technically within my occupation field.

I worked as an automotive technician for a little under a year as a means of income while I was in the Delayed Entry Program for the United States Marine Corps, until i shipped out in October of 2012.

This was my first job, and where i learned the value of long days and hard work. I worked both in the greenhouse, aswell as a general farm hand on my boss' grain farm. I did everything from bailing hay, to animal care, and the operation of heavy equipment.
