About Lucas Wright
I have a long history of employment with the VCU Health System, during which I have held positions with progressively more responsibility. I work well independently but also know what it takes to work well as a team. My current role places me in a highly visible position within the Health System and I collaborate with physicians, department leadership, and senior leadership from MCV Physicians, VCU School of Medicine, and the VCU Health System. I currently direct a team that actively administers productivity-based compensation models for 600+ physicians and CRNAs. In the past two years, I have directed the implementation of new compensation models for areas such as primary care and transplant surgery that span beyond traditional, wRVU-based compensation, offering more salary stability but also rewarding performance based on panel size and clinical quality metrics.
