The Treehouse Project plans to build a 6-room “treehouse” lodge near Chimanimani National Park: “The Treehouse Chimanimani”. With cabins positioned at various heights in the eucalyptus canopy looking out over the spectacular Haroni Valley, the lodge will be Zimbabwe’s first true “treetop hotel”.

Teaching "Democracy and Media Politics" in the College of Social Sciences, Department of Political Science and International Relations. This course explores the relationship between the the government (policymakers), the press, and the public.

Member of the Fragile States Team (Policy Division), responsible for sharing best-practices with the Government of Canada.

Worked directly with the Deputy Minister’s office, responsible for brokering new partnerships and opportunities for private sector collaboration. Senior member of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Task Force, reporting to the Director General. Managed the public affairs team, and led media relations activities with regards to Afghanistan and Pakistan on behalf of the agency. Drafted the Agency’s Pakistan public engagement strategy. In Kandahar, directly advised the most senior civilian and military leaders on communications coordination and local/international co-operation.

Responsible for all joint communications on behalf of a coalition of Canadian NGOs, including: CARE, Save the Children, Plan, and World Vision. Led nine of the world’s best photographers throughout Africa and Asia as part of the $500,000 campaign entitled “AIDS: Picture Change” in advance of the 2006 AIDS Conference. Spoke to parliamentarians, students, and business leaders about CARE’s work throughout the developing world. Also responsible for all donor coordination and fundraising on this project.
