Enterprise Logistics Lead
CurrentArea of Responsibility:- Enterprise Logistics Lead -subject matter expert for LM transportation, freight payment, and supply chain security. Scope: 2.1m annual shipments across all major modes. Responsible for all carriers and logistics contracts. - Manage a team of highly skilled professional logistics personnel- Act as mentor for multiple internal and external employees across varying functional areas and career positions including transitioning veterans and college graduates - Manage, execute, and deploy global logistics negotiation strategy and transportation supplier management- Facilitate international growth and exposure of logistics program to non-US business- Represent LM at all transportation negotiations and functions - Strategic input to long-term department vision and global footprint growth- Deployable asset to LM programs, traffic departments, and cross-functional teams- Primary transportation interface for acquisitions, joint-ventures, and program specific needs- Primary logistics POC for external engagements at industry events and related association memberships- LM21 Lean Six Sigma Black Belt employing waste-reduction techniques in process management and systematic automation- Responsible for global freight payment process including subcontract and supplier management. Scope includes supplier payments, program financial postings, customer billing, and internal ledger accuracy- Responsible for LM's CTPAT program management and accountability to US Customs and Border Protection- Subject matter expert on Supply Chain technology and integration opportunities, both in-house and COTS. - Subject matter expert on Transportation Management Systems, 3PLs, and ERP Integration (SAP, Oracle, etc)- Expert level user of MS Office including Access and SharePoint- Familiarity with data warehouse, HTML, and PHP coding- Strategic partner with business development organization for capturing new business and proposal support
