MSc in Physics, pluri-certified IFPUG and COSMIC (Certified Software Measurement & Function Point Specialist, COSMIC Foundation Level & Early&Quick Size Estimating), I work on Software Measurement since 1996. Past member of GUFPI-ISMA Board of Directors 2004 to 2020, I'm Past President there 2009 to 2012, bringing the Italian Association from the Founders management ti the current one, establishing the Students Award and chairing successfully the IWSM (International Workshop on Software Measurement) in Assisi (Italy) in 2012.I chaired the Software Benchmarking Committee of GUFPI-ISMA, up to the publication of the Productivity Impacting Factors Taxonomy, cited from other bodies and in international works, and I managed its relationships with ISBSG, also as Treasurer. With IFPUG and COSMIC, I contributed to the SNAP (Software Non-Functional Assessment Process) project, phase 2, 2009-2011, and I've been President of COSMIC (2012-2013), serving still as Italian representative and Member of the COSMIC Intl. Advisory Council.I carry on theory and applied research on Software Projects Measurement and Estimation, publishing at the main International Conferences and in book chapters, and contributing to the field official manuals (IFPUG Function Point Counting Practices Manual, COSMIC Measurement Manual, GUFPI-ISMA for FPA Usage in Contracts - covered by The Centro Nazionale per l'Informatica nella Pubblica Amministrazione).I rigorously mantain a neutral role from all stakeholders in contracts, performing audit and consulting for companies, software houses, PA and bodies.
