I was responsible for taking a Laravel monolithic application to the next level. To do so, I rebuilt both frontend and backend using a more modern approach of software development.The frontend was moved from Laravel to React using Typescript in order to have a more structured code while improving the overall performance and user experience. The backend was kept in Laravel, but rebuilt to work as a fully fledged and robust API for the application.With both of those changes, I was able to create a much more robust solution, both in terms of performance and code quality, which makes future work much faster and easier.

• Helped design how the overall UI/UX looks like for new and existing products and created wire frames detailing how certain aspects could be improved.• Learned new frameworks (React.js, React Native and Expo) and built a new product using it.• Ran interviews and usability testings focused on getting feedback from potential users, and to show what our products are capable of.• Organized all feedback we get and future work into road maps and tasks for team to follow.

• Released the first production version of Activite Personal in December, 2018 alongside a website designed and developed by me to help market the product.• A few months after the release of the first production version, I rebuilt and redesigned the app from the ground up using Flutter, which made the final product much more responsive and robust. That also allowed us to be present in more platforms, like iOS.• Moved the the middleware we were using to a fully featured RESTful web service, which allowed us to have a more secure connection over HTTPS.• Added more features to the app, like support for BLE devices and new assessments options.• Prior to the work with Flutter, we ran a few usability testings to better understand how users interacted with the app and how we could improve it.• Helped create and run various marketing campaigns both through agencies and alongside marketing professionals.

I was one of the interns in charge of developing an Android app called Activite Personal. The app is a companion for Personal Trainers to better understand their clients’ fitness level and have the knowledge to build better training regiments.During this period, we were able to use a previous web version, take its essentials and make a mobile version which was very concise and had all the information a professional needed to make fitness assessments.

Acessa Escola was a program that the Government of the State of São Paulo created so that students had access to the internet, making the computer rooms at schools available for use outside of class hours.My day-to-day responsibility was to give support for the interns working in the schools, training them and doing monthly visits to the schools to make sure everything was running as intended.
