One of 50 students selected from Latin America to be part of the Meta Tech Mentorship. During this mentorship, I’m being mentored by a Facebook Engineer about concepts utilized during technical interviews (Data Structures and Algorithms), seeking to up-skilling my engineering capabilities.

Along with the team, I prepare students from Instituto Federal da Paraı́ba and partners schools to Programming Olympiads, teaching Data Structures, Graphs Algorithms, and Programming Techniques.The project aims to attract the students to the computer science area since the Olympics Programming’s syllabus is very relevant to this area. Moreover, the competitive environment promotes creativity, teamwork, and work under pressure.

Learning Algorithms and Programming through the use of intelligent conversational agentThe use of chatbots or conversational agents in the teaching-learning process makes it possible to personalize the service, adjust the content to each learning process as a constant and quick help and, above all, monitor the performance of each student. In addition, they can also work on various types of platforms, thus facilitating technical applications. The intention of this project is that the student will interact with the conversational agent through the preparation of questions and sentences that make him respond or act according to the desired way, and not just through navigation. In this way, the student will be playing his role actively, reasoning, formulating, and building his own knowledge.
