I am an experienced cybersecurity engineer with a demonstrated history of enablement and technical cybersecurity workflow development. In addition to my long history of cybersecurity engineering and architecture, I have assisted in the creation and configuration of SOC teams, incident response playbooks, and automating detection, containment, remediation and recovery processes for teams of all different sizes, skill sets, and backgrounds. With the ability to script in many languages including Powershell, Batch, Bash, Python, AppleScript, and VBS, I prefer to script and automate the repetitive, mundane tasks in order to keep resources free for the communication and enablement of my peers and clients alike. My persistence in always remembering that human beings are the perpetrators of cyber attacks, the defenders of attempted attacks, and the victims of successful attacks has rewarded me with the ability to both understand and communicate the logistics of cybersecurity processes and explain them appropriately in relation to my audience.
