I was the first employee of Willow Europe. I established the business from London and grew an international team to deliver the work so that I could focus on customer relationships, business development, sales and marketing and general business operations and administration. For a time, I managed customer accounts regarding commercial matters, software implementation and customer success. I worked closely with customers to develop solutions for digitalising their portfolios and how that impacts our software development and implementation. More recently I moved into the product development playing a lead role using my years of experience in the industry to steer the development of a new product. In this I was also involved in sales and marketing of the new product including the go to market strategy.As digital twins are a new concept and market for Real Estate, I ensure that we are up to date with market research, case studies, customer engagement and competitor analysis to ensure we can stay ahead and be innovative. In 2020 I led the process in Willow achieving a global BIM Kitemark for ISO 19650 coordinating the accreditation of 7 offices over 3 regions.

I was in charge of the development, implementation, execution and management of BIM for all projects developed by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe. My remit covered a development pipeline of around £4 billion within the UK and Europe. I was brought into the company to deliver their first ‘BIM’ project after which I established a managed BIM environment and processes across all developments and built a small team to facilitate the day to day management.The highlight of my tenure was working with a vendor as well as our facilities management team to develop a BIM app that allowed Westfield to collate all of their design and construction models into a user friendly app for the facilities management (end user) team. The models are linked to the operation and maintenance (O&M) information database allowing for rapid access to information and expediting the process of information handover between construction and operation. It has been met with overwhelming positivity and is being promoted as an FM solution for the wider portfolio of assets for URW.

I was part of the senior leadership team within the Digital Engineering function and managed the implementation and usage of BIM on large scale building projects during construction in the London and Oxford region. I managed a team of 7 digital engineers supporting 10 projects collectively worth over £1 billion. For each project I worked with the project leader to develop a BIM strategy that supports Laing O’Rourke’s construction methods including their own internal supply chain with a heavy focus on offsite manufacture. I managed the creation of the BIM Execution Plans and negotiated BIM deliverables with key stakeholders. I was also heavily involved in consultant and client engagement as well as work winning and bids.
