I am interested in simulations of proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, focusing on two main topics:• DNA damage induction by ionizing radiation, using Monte Carlo methods to model the interaction of radiation with biological material and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to understand the structural and functional effects at the atomic level; • MD to study and understand different systems and phenomena of biological interest (protein-ligand binding, lipid membrane behavior, and nucleic acid conformations).
