About Lucas Ford
NOTE: I ask that there is absolutely NO soliciting! I do not wish to be added to any email lists or get any marketing calls. Both have reached a new level and are out of hand. I am not interested in new products and services, if or when I am, I know where to find you. Thank you!I have been involved in the computer industry one form or another since the very early 1990's. During this time I've held positions on pretty much every level from basic troubleshooting to project management with a side venture into my creative side. This varied background allows me to effectively manage all aspects of IT having done most of the work myself at one time or another in my life. In addition to Information Technology I have been involved in many other things. This includes a venture in independent Film & Video Production also on and off since around the mid 90's. As in IT, I have done nearly everything from writing, producing, directing, shooting and even occasionally acting. I must say that if I had to pick one, it would be very hard, I enjoy it all but does not pay the bills. I am also very involved in the ham radio community once again, volunteer as an examiner several times a year. I am also active in many clubs around the bay area as well as the NCDXC (Northern California DX Club) Ham Radio Elmer Project as well as serving as the Club Elmer for the San Francisco Radio Club.Specialties: I have had a great deal of experience in building companies from the ground up, developing infrastructure to establishing an identity/branding as well as "re-inventing" them when needed as I have done many times. My unique background in both Media, Hardware, Security and Information Technology has come in handy on many consulting projects via Dream Flix Productions.
