Lucas is a second-year student at the University of Florida from South Florida. He is majoring in marketing and is adding advertising as a second major in the upcoming semester. His goal is to become a creative director, and he understands that reaching the position requires an extensive understanding of advertising, marketing, and business decisions to meet that goal. Lucas last worked as a marketing intern for 609 Tech, a company based in Parkland, FL, and has volunteered extensively with Feeding South Florida, a volunteer organization focusing on feeding the underprivileged. These work experiences have helped him grow his customer service, organization, and communication skills. As VP of Marketing for Common Craft (a student-led club at UF), Lucas manages graphic designers and all marketing efforts ranging from social media presence to physical interaction with members. Lucas also has numerous technical skills that he is either certified or proficient in. Lucas is proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programs and is certified in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and AutoCAD. Ultimately, what sets Lucas apart is his unrelenting persistence to learn more about advertising, marketing, and design, which contributes to his willingness to put 100% of his effort into his work.
