Previously, I co-founded Propel Studio Architecture where I was the Partner in charge of Business Development and Marketing, and Design Director for retail, residential, and international projects. As a team leader I directed the firm's administration, finances, resource management, contracts, invoicing, and project management. I grew Propel by over $500,000 in annual revenue. My architectural work was housing focused. I participated in the design of over 50 Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), plus missing-middle scale housing developments including infill row-houses, cottage clusters, and affordable multi-family housing developments. I've also designed custom homes, worked with small businesses on retail interiors, and engaged community groups on a variety of project types. Running a small business developed my experience in team leadership, mentoring emerging professionals, resource management, business development and sales, improving operational efficiency, and building a strong business culture.
