In 2013, I co-founded Twenty20 (t20pay.com), where I served as CEO for seven years, transforming the company from its humble beginnings in a storage closet in El Paso, Texas, to a leading M&A group, recognized multiple times on the Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing companies. Through hands-on leadership, I drove early growth with relentless cold calling and door-to-door sales, securing our first several hundred clients. Today, as our non-operational President, I retain an equity position in our portfolio of over 40,000 AUM, built through more than 25 buy-side acquisitions and 12 mergers. Our Group anticipates reaching our joint exit target by 2026.Key achievements include developing and validating our M&A model, recruiting and training my successor CEO, securing acquisition funding from international high-net-worth individuals and family offices, and building strategic partnerships nationwide with several Fortune 500/5000 companies.Beyond Twenty20, I am passionate about supporting the next generation of startup founders as a consultant and CEO advisor across the U.S. and LATAM. My mentorship extends to my work with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and participation in the American Legion Boys State Leadership Program. Despite leaving college in my junior year, I’ve continued learning, including completing Y Combinator's online startup accelerator at Stanford in 2015.Since 2010, I’ve traveled to over 57 countries, embracing a “slo-madic” lifestyle, living for extended periods in across Asia, Europe, North and South America. These culturally rich experiences have shaped my perspective and broadened my network of friendships around the world fueling one of my latest ventures, Maly. Maly is a social discovery platform currently in private beta for IOS designed to connect digital nomads, expats, locals, and travelers through the discovery of shared experiences and places they love around the world.
