About Lucas Simplicio

I have over 3 years of experience selling different products, since luxury furniture, clothes , fashion accessories and Multilevel Marketing. I'm also used to selling online services like fitness coaching programs and furniture as well. I went to different workshops where I received knowledge about neuroscience, why people do what they do as well as what motivates them, and most importantly, what causes them pain and how to use that as an advantage in sales.I love to work with people, and having direct interactions with my team, a community and the costumers ( not just sales, but support and solving problems as well) is where my performance excels. People are my element.

  • Siena Home
    Online Sales Specialist
    Siena Home Jan 2024 - Apr 2024
    England, United Kingdom
Right now I combined all my 3 years selling furniture with my previous experience selling online/ making phone calls for international clients.I work from home at Siena Home, a company based in England.I'm part of the sales team and I call interior designers that applied for one of our trade accounts, and build a relationship with them from the moment they apply until the moment they close the deal and receive their furniture.
  • Jacked Vegans
    Online Sales Specialist
    Jacked Vegans Aug 2023 - Dec 2023
    United States
Only 1 week after I left my last job, I decided to work fully online for international brands.I started working at Jacked Vegans (they sell fitness coaching programs ) at first simply replying to costumers on Instagram. My goal was to book as many calls as possible for the sales team to close. After 2 weeks, the owner got on a call with me to let me go, since he no longer needed my services, but on that same call he thought I was well spoken and invited me to be part of the sales team.It was there that I learned about CRM, selling through the phone, having 30 minutes of training 5 days a week.It changed my perspective completely about a new possibility and a new way of working/ selling.
  • Mais Sofa
    Sales Specialist
    Mais Sofa Aug 2021 - Aug 2023
    São Paulo, Brazil
One of the owners from my previous company decided to leave and start his own brand. Almost the entire team decided to leave and go work with him, I was one of them as well because we believed in his vision.I was selling luxury furniture. We open 2 new stores and I had the opportunity to be the owner's right arm in one of them as he needed me to take care of things there, and someone he could trust.Because of the country's financial situation, less and less costumers were showing up so we were forced to adapt and hire a professional digital marketing company.I became a specialist in selling online, replying to our clients on instagram and WhatsApp as well.Besides selling, I was also responsible for organizing and decorating the store with another team member.I also would schedule and hire the people responsible for delivering the furniture, as well as solving problems that would eventually come up in terms of delays or clients wanting to cancel.Unfortunately the company closed their doors, and I was the last person on the team when this happened.
  • Supercomfort
    Commission Sales Associate
    Supercomfort Nov 2020 - Aug 2021
    São Paulo, Brazil
I started at this company as a freelancer and quickly earned my official spot on the team. The company sells luxury furniture.I was meant to work only on the weekends as a freelancer, but I offered myself to work for free during the week as well, with the goal in mind of becoming an official sales person there. The main lesson I was exposed to in this company was digital marketing and online sales. Because Covid was still happening, as a new strategy we would sell furniture using Instagram, and I would say something around 60% of our total sales came from online leads.I learned about decoration, also learned about taking hours or even days before closing a deal. It's when the concept of building relationships and having normal conversations became real to me as a way of selling your product.
  • D'Casa Design
    Commission Sales Associate
    D'Casa Design Sep 2020 - Oct 2020
    São Paulo, Brazil
It was during Covid that I got to work selling furniture for the first time. Little did I know that I would be doing this to this day.It was an only commission based job.I had a goal, and after hitting a specific number ( R$ 60.000,00 per month) I would get extra compensation as a reward. I was impressed how the furniture industry would sell so naturally and how much money people were willing to invest in their dream house. I only stayed there for 2 months because a new company hired me also to sell furniture. In both months I achieved the goal!
  • Multilevel Marketing
    Entrepreneur
    Multilevel Marketing Nov 2016 - Dec 2018
    Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil
I noticed that money only takes you to a certain point and I didn’t have enough education to get a better job. I learned that I was lacking networking. I needed to meet new people and really connect with them because when people like you they believe and support what you do, for who you are and not necessary for how good you are. So I worked being my own boss selling cosmetics and fragrances for 2 years. I went to a lot of workshops and learned so much about people, how they are motivated by pain, how to sell dreams not products, and how people buy status not products . It’s about the person’s needs and how what you are offering supplies that. Also breaking objections during discovery when you are getting to know your costumer. It's all about being curious and leading the conversation.
  • Gap
    Cashier
    Gap Jul 2015 - Apr 2017
    Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil
It was my first job after high school and where I was introduced to the possibility of sales .I Greeted costumers upon their entry and when they arrived at the cash register.Besides the checkout procedures , I had to email our company once a week andschedule and prepare boxes with every damaged piece of clothing in any shapeor form so we could send them out and get new ones.My favorite part was when we had to do a little ‘’interview’ with every costumerasking if they found what they wanted, what they thought about the prices, ifwe were lacking variety of sizes and so on and so forth. We used the feedbackto let the company know what our costumers are looking for not only in size butalso fashion wise. It was the moment I made the most crucial connections andnetworking of my life, having a brief chat with the clients.
