At the age of 7, I had grown my little nest egg to $300. By 12, I was a regular donor to a handful of charities. I remember saving every Christmas & birthday gift and selling golf balls in egg cartons at my dad’s office. Something birthed in me at that young age that has continued to this day: a passion for the joy of giving. I love the thrill of connecting a worthy cause with a motivated donor! My business life was exciting until I encountered a big headache of a problem that also became a unique opportunity. As a finance techie and senior executive of a large Donor Advised Fund, I realized our company’s outdated software was severely limiting our ability to grow and thereby assist the non-profits. What’s more, I discovered I was not alone in this frustration. We needed an industry wide solution. That’s when we put on our entrepreneurial hats and invented a timely solution: Give Interactive. As CEO of this initiative, I work to achieve our goal of inspiring and facilitating world-changing generosity through world class technology. My #1 strength from StrengthFinder is "Learning," and believe me my learning tank is constantly running over!On the personal side, I love all sports and everything outdoors. I have run enough miles in my life to make it halfway around the circumference of the globe. (But like many former competitive athletes, injuries currently plague me!)
