Most recent role is leading the FP&A / Strategic Finance team globally, currently taking a break.Teams / functions I’ve built and lead at Uber:- FP&A, forecasting, financial planning - FP&A is Uber's crystal-ball and is responsible for owning the business model. company-wide strategic and financial planning for Uber’s full P&L, capital allocation for billions of dollars annually. business model optimizations, strategic financial efficiency initiatives- international expansion: drove strategy, design, and implementation of uber's international corporate and tax entity structure. oversaw teams responsible for setting up international finance org in amsterdam- tax strategy and compliance including VAT strategy/compliance- financial systems and reporting, including involvement in ERP and EPM selection and implementation- accounting operations and audit, including monthly internal city P&L reporting across all Uber cities- payments and currencies, banking, and fraud prevention- accounts payable including all partner-driver payouts globally- equity: 409a valuations, options planning, and equity administration including rollout of early exercise program- compensation: built model and drove performance-based compensation process for first 2 years we did this- fundraising: point-person on all of series b, forecast and due diligence involvement in subsequent rounds- payroll and benefits- insurance: established company’s first set of insurance policies, domestic and international- real estate: executing leases, letters of credit, facilities planning- legal in the early days: early immigration work, primary liaison with external counsel on corporate matters prior to formation of internal legal team, coordinated formation and structuring of first several subsidiaries

Co-founded e-commerce company with CEO, where I lead finance and operations. - Corporate finance: performed incorporation and cap table work, bridge note financing, established banking relationships, payment processor relationships, outsourced HR and payroll provider, executed Series A equity financing. - Drove financial strategy and planning, managed all non-engineering employees. - Financial Operations: tax compliance and filings, accounts payable, accounting operations with external accountants, etc. - Managed through strategic shift in company's direction and ultimately wound down the company.

Company runs a service and manufactures a device sold to consumers through retail which together provide free VOIP telecom service.Sole FP&A person, worked directly with CEO and executive team, as during much of my tenure there was no CFO. - Ran process and built all models for company-wide financial forecasting and planning, including sales, headcount, marketing, manufacturing, support, etc. - Built and maintained weekly inventory build schedule and cash payments and runway.- Assisted with process to raise $42m in equity financing over 2 rounds- Built models supporting ooma's retail launch and rollout, change in pricing strategy, strategic cost-savings initiatives, outsourcing support to Philippines- Worked closely with new CEO to revamp company's business model and develop new operating budgets
