Sustainable Water Solutions, LLC (SWS) specializes in technical services and solutions to characterize, develop, manage, protect, and cleanup groundwater resources. SWS worked with both private and public sector clients on a broad range of projects centered around water supply, mining, and environmental compliance and cleanup. SWS worked in close collaboration with geochemists and civil and geotechnical engineers to accommodate the multidisciplinary nature of many projects and to provide comprehensive cost-effective solutions.

Contract technical services. Performed technical reviews for a wide range of environmental reports including RFI reports developed for a submarine facility in Connecticut, a steel manufacturing facility in Indiana, and a wheel manufacturing facility in Michigan, a petroleum refinery in Wyoming, and Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA) reports for underground storage tank (UST) sites at a former Navy airbase in Puerto Rico. Also responsible for characterizing the current groundwater conditions at RCRA sites and providing an assessment of the effectiveness of the monitoring networks and determinations regarding the stability of contaminant migration as part of the Environmental Indicator (EI) Project.

Provided consulting services relating to water supply, wellfield management and development, mine pit dewatering, environmental impact assessments, water resource baseline studies, groundwater monitoring, and water quality interpretation. Worked abroad extensively to service the mining and water supply sectors.
