As part of the General Accounting COE team my responsibilities are to reconcile the cashbook and General Ledgers with CIBC's internal data systems. Prepare reconciliation guidelines, create graphs using specific metrics to compare different COE team efficiency on a YoY and MoM basis and post my results on CIBC's website. Build BMT & DTP process map guides for use by executives.

As part of the CRE team I was responsible for analyzing data to give value add recommendations on where to cut costs, which buildings were liabilites and plans for the future. Created decks consisting of Pivot Tables, Graphs etc. and presenting it to European Executives for them to get a better understanding of cost per FTE, per SQFT, YoY/QoQ/MoM variances and where they can make adjustments. Prepared a memorandum for retroactive HST savings resulting in a $4.1MM tax rebate and $1.1MM annual HST savings
