My role has been to support the IT department with financial tracking for IT spending for 22 properties in 8 states as well as the corporate office.Key areas of focus and responsibility• Budget By Director – Slice and Dice Budget and Actual Expense tracking from one IT cost center to separate cost centers for each of the directors. Created new reporting for directors and managers to help track line item expenses.• Month End Close – Review the IT General Ledger, initiate accounting adjustments, prepare accruals and provide backup to accounting.• Accounting Cleanup – General Ledger review from 2013 forward and initiated any needed adjustments• Amortization – Review all IT subscription and maintenance expenses and prepare amortization schedules• Office 365 Power BI / PowerView – Design reports that can be shared with management and give real time information on Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Payments.
