Since was a child, I have always been impressed by the grandiosity of the constructions, indeed this intrigued me in such way that I knew that one day this would become part of my life. I grew up and the curiosity about constructions helped me to thread my future. Finally, at the age of 16 I chose to study civil engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana, the course besides solving all my childhood doubts and make me understanding the responsibility of an engineer. During the course, I had the pleasure of being taught by excellent teachers, they guided me and my colleagues to improving our skills and grow as a great professional. Also, I had worked as an intern in some companies and this gave me the opportunity to learn about many sectors of Civil Engineering. In 2016, I graduated and came across a bleak scenario, a deep crisis in Brazil’s civil construction, which makes think that it could be an amazing opportunity to adventure into I call “the greatest challenge of my life”. I went to an exchange in Australia to improve my English and experiencing a different life’s style. It was a year of great resilience, after all, facing a new culture far from all those I love, it is not easy. The truth is that civil engineering is the focus of my life, so I returned to Brazil and since then I have been struggling every day for my career. Currently, I work as freelance engineer, developing structural projects using software as CYPECAD and EBERICK. Also, I work as technical responsible and designer of assembly and dismasting of scaffolding’s area. But that’s not all, this is just the beginning of my journey.
