Air Force Detailee (SAF/AAZ) I optimize acquisition security for the Office of Industrial Policy, Global Investment & Economic Security (GIES) Office and the Committee on Foreign Investments in the U.S. (CIFUS). In addition, I lead an interagency working group of senior leaders from all military branches, OUSD(A&S), and OUSD Intelligence & Security.ACHIEVEMENTS:❏ Improved processes include Agile practices, the SAFe framework, and a focus on continuous improvement. ❏ Created a new functional knowledge area for DoD acquisitions.❏ Pioneered a “baseball card” format for showcasing the benefits and risks of U.S. and foreign company M&As.❏ Advanced research capacity, laying the foundation for interagency data-sharing by leading a working group with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.❏ Built relationships with senior D0D leaders and Intelligence Community agencies to enhance collaborative capabilities.❏ Supported the transition of authorities from the DoD CIO to the FIR office through critical planning/execution assistance.❏ Paved the way for more effective workforce planning by implementing formal reporting on FIR Strategic Capital and Operational Research (SCOR) activities, used to brief the Under Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy.

I co-led the Cyber Command’s security division and Special Security Office of 49 civilian employees, military personnel, and contractors the in J0S and J2S Divisions. My leadership spanned strategy planning, program planning, execution roadmaps, resource management, and stakeholder engagement. I also represented the Chief of Security in senior leadership meetings at the 3 and 4-star general level.ACHIEVEMENTS:In just two years, I transformed security operations from a 6-person office into a high-performance division of ~100 people. In doing so, I advanced mission sustainability, enhanced capabilities, and elevated the value to all CYBERCOM directorates, divisions, and offices. My success formula: analysis + partnerships + strategy + action.❏ Stood up the J0S Security Headquarters division, Supply Chain Risk Management program, Insider Threat program, and J0S Incident Response Team. ❏ Directed a civilian/contractor Insider Threat team in developing user activity monitoring capabilities for the secret internet protocol router (SIPR) at the Integrated Intelligence Center/Joint Operations Center.❏ Enabled direct support of the National Background Investigations Bureau (NBIB) by negotiating an MOA.❏ Overhauled security policies, processes, and SOPs, as well as standards for employees and contractors and partnered with the National Security Agency on process automation.❏ Collaborated to develop job descriptions, military personnel requirements, and a command contract for contractors.❏ Established roadmaps to improving business sustainability despite workforce limitations.❏ Coordinated with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, DoD Special Operations Command Central, Joint Operations Center, external security, and local law enforcement to quickly resolve a key investigation.

Within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Information Protection Directorate, I directed security and protection program planning, technical reviews, policy standardization, and support across 3,000 technologically advanced programs in a massive security program portfolio.ACHIEVEMENTS:❏ Improved Tier 1-3 Acquisition Program Protection Plans by advising program managers and security specialists. ❏ Revolutionized protection capabilities for DoD acquisition security assets by drafting the first DoD instructions for Acquisition Security and outlining the roles and responsibilities of DoD agencies. ❏ To grow overall nationwide team bench strength, I taught 20+ Program Protection courses on technology and information protection, plan development, and enhanced protection measures.

I served as a strategic advisor on information, personnel, industrial, physical, and operations security in the 88th Information Protection Directorate, Information Security Office and led a team of 96 program coordinators.
