Teaching "Entrepreneurship for Hackers" for Spring 2014 to graduate and undergraduate students. Over the semester they will work in teams to make a product that delivers value to customers. Students will learn tools and tricks of the trade including storyboarding, customer interviews, prototyping tools, lean and agile methodologies, business frameworks, as well as an introduction to the NYC entrepreneurial ecosystem. Researched the use of smart cards for secure client key storage in a collocation-hosting environment. Modified an open source network monitoring tool written in Java to do dynamic loading of libraries and modules, and wrote modules utilizing native C code to perform raw socket IO. Worked on various small crypto projects in Java and Perl writing glue code for an internal PKI system.
