Rotating through two departments of a Landing Gear Overhaul Facility, my primary responsibility is inspecting the 737’s and A320’s landing gear parts and, secondly, assembling the overhauled parts depending on the production flow demand.Key Responsibilities:- Visually inspecting parts for damage and corrosion, and measuring dimensions to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.- Determining all necessary repair processes to ensure the components meet airworthiness standards, based on CMM’s, AD’s, Service Bulletins and Standard Practices.- Assembling the legs prior to releasing them for service.

Acquired knowledge and learned the processes involved in the overhaul of 737 and A320 landing gears, including visual inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), machining, bushing installation, chrome and cadmium plating, and assembly. Additionally, received thorough training in disassembly, cleaning, paint stripping, and preparation of parts for painting.

Recognizing my areas of improvement and following the aircraft maintenance requirements, since I arrived in Dublin I focused on the improvement of my English skills and my commercial aircraft knowledge. During this period, to pay the Dublin cost of living, I worked for a supermarket chain (Tesco) as a Cashier and Baker, completed a Europe recognized Boeing 737-7/8/9 (CFM Leap-1B) General Familiarisation course and started a EASA certified Landing Gear Traineeship.

Invited back by the owners, I rejoined the company as an intern and was promoted to a part-time employee upon graduation. During this time, I accumulated experience in the Commercial and Technical departments.Key Responsibilities- Created the commercial project to disseminate the Garmin 1000 and Performance Based Navigation courses.- Created the new company’s course area (BREVETT Academy).- Consulted 4 aviation schools certification processes being responsible for requesting and drafting the needed school documentation, dealing with the aviation regulatory agency, correcting any discrepancies along the process and weekly reporting the progress to the manager.

During my mandatory graduation internship, I worked in a Brazilian aviation consulting company until the termination of the contract. Due to the one year history and being a small company, I worked in different fronts and in high-responsibility roles.Key Responsibilities:- Developed Excel worksheets for the maintenance control of three different aircrafts, listing the components, AD’s and Services Bulletins, in the Technical Maintenance Control department.- Listed all the Brazilian MRO’s and Aviation Schools in an Excel worksheet and liaised their managers prospecting leads and selling consultancy services, in the commercial sector.- Organised the documents of the current processes in the company.

Outline:With the intention to improve my English skills and help to afford my Aeronautical Engineering Degree I lived in Dublin for 8 month. During this period, I worked as a Barista in Starbucks where my roles were cleaning the store, serving customers and preparing drinks.

After a year, I gained recognition by being promoted to salesperson, staying in that position for 8 months.
