During this tenure, I have developed and supervised programming and operations for a 12-acre outdoor community arts venue and a team of seven direct reports in areas of production, programming, marketing, rentals, and business operations to ensure comprehensive management processes. I have created and directed run of shows for live streaming on YouTube and Facebook Live. I led press/media and community relations efforts featured in the LA Times, ABC, NBC, and Univision in an objective way.● Created an opportunity for local emerging visual and performing artist to share their work and get paid equitably.● Increased overall attendance of event participants from 80,000 to 400,000+ annually via innovative programming, execution of multiple large-scale events, and the addition of 25 new programs, including lunchtime concerts, and partnerships with >100 arts and community organizations.● Reduced city service fees by 50% by utilizing effective negotiation skills.● Augmented community participation in arts programming, and secured $100K+ in sponsorships.● Increased programming budget from $300K to $2M by securing government grants and corporate sponsorships.● Secured funding for park infrastructure improvements and programming development by performing as a primary point of contact between the County CEO’s Office, County Board of Supervisors, City Government, and Grand Park.● Attracted 60,000+ residents by leading Los Angeles’ most significant and only New Year’s Eve event.
