My name is Luke Roy, and I am from Naperville, Illinois. I am currently a junior studying finance at the Kelley School of Business. Throughout my academic career I have grown fond of using practical, and social skills to create solutions for problems and tasks at hand. I have grown a passion for working together and collaborating with individuals who share the same interests. I have been fortunate enough to experience many athletic, and volunteer opportunities that have helped me establish who I am. This is where my interest in marketing and business as a whole stem from. The transferable skills and values I align my interests with are loyalty, leadership, and dedication. Being a two-time varsity football starter has helped me grow as a leader throughout the years as I had to sometimes enforce discipline while maintaining a positive outlook on everyone's success. Being involved with my team opened me to the opportunity to collaborate with other in efforts to restore our community after a tornado destroyed the area as we were tasked with aiding the locals with moving heavy trees, and furniture efficiently. My dedication and loyalty towards my responsibilities whether it was my football team or the many jobs I've had over the years have opened so many opportunities for me to work together with people close to me to create a better community.
